Isla Vaughn has quickly become 1 of my unicorn authors. She has a talent with her storytelling that you cannot help but being completely and utterly engrossed in them. Brutal Days is no different. The winding road of secrets and lies you take while reading this book will leave you craving more. Trust me I am so impatiently waiting for the next book with this particular couple....

Damon Savage is just what is last name states. He is a freaking SAVAGE! He is just as formidable as his brother and dare I say a bit more possessive. He does not let anyone in easily and has a switch he flips with people he feels have wronged him. To say he is an alpha-hole is putting it politely.

There is something about the girl who turns him down that he knows he just has to have her. When the opportunity presents itself to him he makes an offer Skylar can't refuse. Skylar is the epitome of the girl who really could care less if you are a jock, cheerleader, or any of the popular type people. She has a chill about her that things just roll of her like water. She refuses to be bullied by those that deem themselves better and holds her head high wherever she goes. When her best-friend begs for her help with something she does what she always does she helps her out..........
