New Release + Review: Corrupting The Innocent by P. Rayne
Heather's ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review:
Corrupting The Innocent is Sofia Moretti and Antonio La Rosa.
Antonio being the next in line to lead the family he has been betrothed to his fathers underboss’s daughter Aurora. She is the essence of a mean girl. She is manipulative and will cause drama when things do not go her way. She has been a thorn in Sofia's side for as long as she can remember. Antonio is a very stoic man who always does what is expected of him. When circumstances bring these two together that is when the sparks fly. Sophia is sweet demure and is perfectly fine being a made mans wife. She has had a crush on Antonio for as long as she can remember. I loved how she found her voice and essentially found herself within these pages. The temptation between these two becomes too much and they decide to act upon them. There is something about her sweet demeanor that calls put to Antonio he can't help but want to grab her and dirty her up a little bit. He knows he shouldn't want her and that she is a forbidden fruit, but he doesn't want anyone else to have her either.
When the two of them are thrust together sparks fly and secrets begin to unravel. The suspense was suspenseful and the secrets that come to light really pushes the bonds within the family. There is some angst written in these pages and I really wanted to kick Antonio in the shins a few times. Not gonna lie I did scream at my kind WTF Antonio a few different times. I felt for Sophia she is suck a sweet and pure soul. She is truly one of the rare beauties that sees the good in everyone.
