I have been waiting for this book since Aria first laid eyes on Gabriele. Aria has been raised in the mafia world, but is really naïve and has been left in the dark on everything. She truly doesn't know what dangers lurk in the dark around her. All she really wants to do is spread her wings and experience life and everything it has to offer. When there is an invitation left in her room she does what any curious young lady would do and takes full advantage of the invite. What she doesn't realize is there are dark forces at play. Gabriele is our dark and mysterious mafia man who has peaked my interest from the beginning. The attraction he feels towards the young lady is one he has been warned off from. He knows she will cause trouble, but for some reason he cannot turn away from her. When an outside force decides it is going to threaten her he decides he will help her. What he really doesn't expect is the strong need to keep her safe and close very very close. The storyline is well written and will have you on the edge of your seat. You are gonna find yourself wanting to know who os behind the threat. Once everything is revealed you will see just what Gabriele will do to protect what is his.
