Ok they say you do not need to read the prior books in this series to read this one. I have not read the others and for me I think I should have just to understand the dynamics in this world a little better. There are quite a few flashbacks thet help bring you up to speed, but I think if I would have read the others I wouldn't have needed them. Did it take away from this storyline? For me it did just because I know better than to dive into a series in the middle or end. I am one of those readers that needs to know everything about everyone. So that is my mistake. With that being said this is a really great book. The story flows really well and is fadt paced. There is not a slow part in it.
If you are looking for a enemies to lovers second chance romance then by all means please go and grab yourself a copy of this book. I loved Zayde's character. He is the epitome of an alpha male and will do anything for his angel. Fallon is a sweet young lady who is a bit naïve, but not at the same time. You need to read this book to understand that statement. Their story is an uphill battle that they both need to fight for.
