Aiden

Everything in Aiden Sullivan’s career has brought him to this moment.

New job. New city. New company.

As the youngest V.P. in Appeal Media’s history, he’s got a lot to prove—there’s no room for error.

Getting involved with an employee would be a mistake. Getting involved with Abigail Summers would be a disaster

She’s too young. Too sweet. Worst of all, she’s his new executive assistant.

This relationship has the word “forbidden” written all over it.

He didn’t leave his tight-knit family behind in L.A. just to destroy his career. But Aiden can’t stop thinking about the curvy, lavender-haired woman who sits outside his office door every day.

Except one forbidden moment leads to more. And Aiden finds it impossible to push their relationship back into professional territory.

When reality comes knocking, and the price of their choices must be paid, can Aiden afford to follow his heart without giving up everything he’s worked for?

Abbie

When the combination of her best friend, an ordinary staff meeting and an iced coffee result in an unexpected promotion, Abigail Summers finds her quiet, safe existence turned upside down.

New job. New office. New boss.

Change is Abbie’s nightmare. Anxiety is a part of her daily reality. She longs to be free of the self-doubt that holds her back from living life to its fullest.

Keeping the status quo helps her feel in control of her world. Her entry-level job, her best friends, her cat, and her books are all she needs.

Until the handsome, older Aiden Sullivan unravels her carefully crafted life.

Dating the boss is a catastrophe waiting to happen. So why can’t she get Aiden out of her head?

About the Author:

Violet K. Avery is a dedicated bookworm. After reading her first romance novel (in secret!) at the age of sixteen, a whole new world opened up to her and her TBR has been out of control ever since. Though her background is in education, writing a novel has been a lifelong dream. When not writing, she enjoys spending time with her family and her two naughty, but adorable, rescue dogs. And she definitely doesn't buy too many craft supplies for the latest art she is trying to learn!
